About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at North Lakes Children's Services.

As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supporting daily routines, including personal hygiene, meals, and activities
  2. Developing life skills and promoting independence
  3. Attending medical appointments and supporting the implementation of care plans
  4. Completing daily paperwork and maintaining accurate records
  5. Working collaboratively with the team to ensure the best possible outcomes for the young people

Requirements:

  1. Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification
  2. Excellent communication and listening skills
  3. Ability to work well as part of a small team
  4. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including sleep-ins and evenings
  5. Enhanced DBS check
