About the Role

This Theatre Educator position is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Drama Teacher to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering engaging drama lessons, fostering a creative and inclusive classroom environment, and preparing students for performances and assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Lesson Planning: Deliver high-quality drama lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5 (A-level Drama) depending on experience.
  • Classroom Management: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging students to express themselves and develop their performance skills.
  • Student Progress Monitoring: Track and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help students achieve their full potential.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related subject, along with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Drama at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.
