We are seeking an experienced Master Tradesperson to join our maintenance team at our Glenrothes head office, serving the construction and civil engineering sectors.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance checks, repairing and maintaining plant and equipment, and ensuring all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Perform regular maintenance inspections on plant and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent downtime
- Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of equipment
- Conduct safety inspections and implement corrective actions as required to maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with the team to identify process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity
- 5+ years of experience as a tradesperson in a similar industry, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles and practices
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
