About the Role

We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our team at a client secondary school in Old Trafford. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students in key stages 3 and 4 and contributing to the delivery of high-quality education.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support students who require additional help with their English work.
  • Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities to small groups.
  • Mark and provide constructive feedback on students' work.
  • Assist students with their homework and revision needs.
  • Work closely with other teaching assistants and staff members to ensure the effective operation of the department.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have relevant experience working in a secondary school setting and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team. This opportunity is ideal for those looking to gain experience before pursuing a PGCE in English.

Salary Range: £25,000 - £30,000 per year.
