Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver - Drainage Engineer

Division: MTS Cleansing Services Ltd

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team as a Drainage Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating specialist jetting tankers and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and operate specialist jetting tankers, including Super Suction Jetting Tankers and Combination Jetting Tankers, in compliance with statutory health, safety, and environmental procedures.
  • Attend emergency call-out situations and respond to sewer blockages, flooding, and pollution incidents.
  • Work on private and public land, adhering to strict health, safety, and environmental protocols.
  • Undertake vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift and ensure accurate documentation of all jobs.
  • Report any defects, accidents, or near misses to your Line Manager promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle and equipment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Class 2 driving license and CPC certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Previous experience in the water utility or environmental services sector is desirable.
