BMS Commissioning Engineer Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled BMS Commissioning Engineer to join our team. As a BMS Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the commissioning of BMS systems and associated controls, including front-end supervisors and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Commissioning of BMS systems, including front-end supervisors and integration.
  2. Production of detailed reports, including commissioning reports, test results, and as-fitted drawings.
  3. Keeping the project manager, service coordinator, or director up to date on your movements and location.
  4. Providing regular progress updates and commissioning status to the project manager.
  5. Returning all documentation, test results, and final paperwork to the office/project manager.
  6. Instruction and supervision of additional trades or company personnel.
  7. Production or back-engineering of software strategy.
  8. Installation, modification, and demonstration of supervisor graphics.
  9. Carrying out energy audits.
  10. Providing controls and energy solutions and ideas.
  11. Assisting in the training of junior engineers and other relevant staff.

Requirements:

  • Previous BMS experience is ideal, but open to promising candidates with an electrical background and familiarity with BMS, looking to get into a fully BMS role. Training will be provided.
  • Ability to carry out surveys on existing systems.
  • Full UK driving license.

Person Profile:

You will be punctual, trustworthy, have a logical approach, and be able to work alone unsupervised.

This is a field-based role with most sites located in the North West and Yorkshire regions. Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary circa £55,000 depending on experience.
