Editorial Trainee Opportunity

The BBC Studios is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Editorial Trainee to join our team. As an Editorial Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience in script editing, writing, and production. This role offers a unique chance to develop your skills and build a career in the media industry.

You will work alongside experienced editors and writers, learning the ins and outs of script editing, writing, and production. You will also have the opportunity to develop your creative skills, learning how to generate and share ideas, and articulate them verbally and visually through treatments and presentations.

Responsibilities:
- Assist senior editors and writers in preparing scripts and storylines
- Conduct research to support script development and production
- Develop writing skills, including generating and sharing creative ideas
- Participate in creative discussions and meetings

Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and think creatively
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

Salary: £22,000 + London Weighting at £5,319 (£27,319 per annum)
