Job Title: Acute Paediatrician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Acute Paediatrician to join our team at Royal Lancaster Infirmary. As a key member of our paediatric service, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people with acute medical conditions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert clinical care to children and young people with acute medical conditions
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and effective communication
  • Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and guidelines
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors and other healthcare professionals
Requirements:
  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice and entry on the Specialist Register
  • Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (or equivalent)
  • Completed Specialist Training (or equivalent) in Paediatrics
  • Proven experience in clinical audit and quality improvement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
