SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a good Primary school in Smethwick. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the teacher with classroom preparation and planning
  • Provide one-to-one support to students who require additional help
  • Lead group work and activities to promote learning and engagement
  • Contribute to pupil observations and assessments
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Children's Learning and Development or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months experience working with children with SEND
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Confidence in a classroom environment and ability to take direction from a class teacher
