Social Care Tender Manager

About the Job
We are recruiting for an experienced Tender Manager to join our team and support our operations in winning and retaining existing local authority and CCG/ICB health and social care contracts.
The role involves working with a well-established healthcare company specializing in mental health, learning disabilities, and autism. As a Tender Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including inpatient and rehabilitation services, care homes, supported living, day services, and more.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Have and keep up-to-date knowledge of national and local authority strategy and market position and inform strategy for growth.
- Represent the organization through the written word with inspiring and innovative content that represents each organization's identity and local community.
- Assess, formulate, and manage end-to-end tender processes to deliver high-quality bid and tender submissions representing operating companies across the organization.
- Contribute to the overall strategy for Business Development.
- Develop, build, and maintain a professional network within the sector to enhance our approach and apply innovation across the group.
- Ownership and accountability for the smooth management of the entire end-to-end tender process, including completion of individual tender applications from qualification through to contract award.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A strategic thinker with excellent time management skills, able to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
- A proven track record of successful tender/bid writing and end-to-end responsibility for management of the tender process, ideally in a social care or equivalent environment.
- Excellent data analysis skills to evaluate identified opportunities and provide a detailed and concise summary report of opportunities.
- Flexible and committed approach to working hours and annual leave to ensure multiple deadlines are met.
- Full driving license required.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience. The role is home-based, but requires occasional travel to our head office base in Potters Bar, other office/service locations, and council and CCG/ICB market engagement events.
