  • Salary: The salary range is estimated at around £28,000-£32,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of planning policies and guidance.
  • Master planning and placemaking to deliver new developments.
  • Efficient processing of planning applications.
  • Improvement of service performance and efficiency.

The Service's main objectives include:

  • Investment generation in the city and supporting the local economy.
  • New infrastructure secured from development proposals.
  • Schemes approved supporting the city centre and local centres.
  • New development responding positively to local context.

Candidates will gain experience in land use monitoring, site planning, development activity tracking, enforcement, and planning applications.
