A career opportunity has arisen with Cyngor Caerdydd/Cardiff Council to support the delivery of its planning and regeneration strategy.
- Salary: The salary range is estimated at around £28,000-£32,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
The key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of planning policies and guidance.
- Master planning and placemaking to deliver new developments.
- Efficient processing of planning applications.
- Improvement of service performance and efficiency.
The Service's main objectives include:
- Investment generation in the city and supporting the local economy.
- New infrastructure secured from development proposals.
- Schemes approved supporting the city centre and local centres.
- New development responding positively to local context.
Candidates will gain experience in land use monitoring, site planning, development activity tracking, enforcement, and planning applications.
