About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Lead to join our team in North Somerset. As a key member of our Mental Health in Schools Support Teams, you will play a crucial role in improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in our community.

This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work closely with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to provide high-intensity CBT interventions and supervision to clinicians. If you have a passion for making a real difference in the lives of young people, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-intensity CBT evidence-based interventions to children, young people, and their families in educational settings.
  • Provide CYPIAPT model supervision to High Intensity CBT clinicians.

Requirements:

  • A recognised qualification in High Intensity Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and professional registration.
  • Previous experience of offering supervision and willingness to complete the CYP-IAPT supervision course (if not already done so).
  • Commitment to anti-oppressive practice and working towards addressing health inequalities.
  • Experience in working with children in educational settings.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to network with other agencies.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
