Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Science and Technology Advisor to join our team at Visiativ. As a Science and Technology Advisor, you will play a key role in assessing technological innovation to determine its eligibility for technology tax reliefs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess technological innovation to determine its eligibility for technology tax reliefs
- Articulate the technology, collect and collate financial data to be mapped to eligible projects
- Represent all material in a compelling report
- Assist in responding to HMRC enquiries and help manage those enquiries to a successful outcome for our client
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in engineering, science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in engineering or science role
- Excellent technical report-writing skills
- IT skills, as a minimum to include advanced MS Excel and MS Word
- Ability to manage own workload
- Team player, with a collaborative approach to work and colleagues
- Experience working with clients and external stakeholders
- Highly motivated self-starter
- The right to work in the UK

- Starting salary up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
