Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Outcomes First Group. Our team provides therapeutic support to vulnerable adults with complex needs, and we are committed to delivering high-quality care and services.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement holistic, therapeutic, and dynamic approaches to support our service users. Your role will involve standardised and non-standardised assessments, bespoke interventions, and preparing relevant documentation, including writing reports and sensory profiles.
You will also be required to provide information and training to staff, commissioners, and other agencies as necessary. Your experience and skills will enable you to work sensitively with people and resolve conflict effectively, while maintaining a focus on the needs of our service users.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementation of occupational therapy clinical duties, including assessments and interventions
- Development and implementation of holistic, therapeutic, and dynamic approaches to support our service users
- Preparation of relevant documentation, including reports and sensory profiles
- Information and training provision to staff, commissioners, and other agencies
- Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement therapeutic support strategies

Essential Criteria
- OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY BSc (HONS)
- Registered with the HCPC
- Experience of working with adults and who have an intellectual disability and/or autism with additional needs (e.g. complex trauma, mental health needs, behaviours of concern)
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of key partners
- Able to work sensitively with people and resolve conflict effectively
- Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
- Substantial and relevant post-qualification experience with children and young people
- Experience of lecturing/teaching/training
- Skills in the management of data are also important as the role includes collecting and analysing data to inform various pieces of service delivery, development and project work
- Experience of working with or qualification in sensory integration
- Experience of supervision and training of staff
- Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
