Education Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team at an outstanding school located near Aintree.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain valuable classroom experience and develop their skills in supporting primary aged children, including those with special educational needs.

The successful candidate will work closely with pupils to provide essential support, including assisting class teachers with the running of the classroom and engaging in bespoke training opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils in 1:1 or small group scenarios
  • Assist class teachers with the running of the classroom
  • Work closely with pupils with additional needs by providing essential support
  • Engage in bespoke training opportunities

Requirements:

  • Graduate with a 2:1 or above in an Education, Psychology or core subject degree
  • Relevant classroom experience – welcomed but not essential
  • Genuine passion to support primary aged children including SEN

What We Offer:

  • 'Outstanding' graded primary school with superb learning facilities
  • Full-time role – Monday-Friday – 32.5 hours per week – term-time only
  • Earn £460 - £490 per week
