At WorkLyf Group Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager to oversee maintenance activities at our client site in Stafford. This key role plays a vital part in ensuring continuous and efficient operations by supervising a team of maintenance operatives (electrical and mechanical), optimising equipment, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, lead, and assist a team of maintenance operatives during shifts to complete tasks efficiently and according to schedule.
  • Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and excellence in maintenance practices within the shift team.
  • Implement the maintenance strategy developed by the Maintenance/Engineering Manager to ensure the reliability and functionality of critical machinery and equipment.
  • Closely coordinate with other departments to plan maintenance activities, minimise disruptions, and optimise production efficiency.
  • Manage inventory levels of maintenance supplies and initiate reordering as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and regulations related to maintenance activities.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment service histories, updating MAPCON where necessary.
  • Conduct daily handovers to the next Shift Foreman.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
  • Effective planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
  • An agile approach to getting things done; flexible and adaptable.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and guidance.
Work Arrangements

48 hours per week - 4 shifts per week - Rotating days and nights monthly.
