Permanent Post

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work in the Benefits team, responsible for assessing claims for Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and understand the complex rules that govern the schemes.

A full training will be given to the successful applicant, who will be responsible for examining Benefit claim forms and documents, and corresponding with official bodies.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 4 GCSE / O level passes (Grade A – C) including English language and Mathematics or equivalent, and good computer skills.
