Customer Service Role - Greggs in SPAR

We are seeking a motivated and friendly Bakery Assistant to join our team at Greggs in SPAR. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing excellent service and standards to our customers, colleagues, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and presenting food according to customer orders.
  • Managing the ovens when cooking hot food items.
  • Demonstrating a complete understanding of menu items and explaining options to customers accurately.
  • Re-stocking sandwiches to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the opening hours of the department.
  • Using the till to record orders, take payments, and provide correct change where necessary.
  • Adhering to all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards when storing, preparing, and serving food and cleaning the department.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role and/or industry is preferred.
  • Some understanding of health and food safety legislative responsibilities in a food environment.
  • Ability to contribute ideas for delivering exceptional customer service and driving the business forward.
