Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Triage Officer - Support Specialist to join our team at the Fire Fighters Charity. As a key member of our assessment services team, you will play a vital role in providing initial advice, information, and signposting to support service users.

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will be responsible for triaging incoming enquiries, gathering key information, and assessing cases based on key criteria to ensure those with urgent needs are prioritised. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide seamless transitions into relevant services.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on health and wellbeing helplines or support lines, dealing directly with service users and providing advice, support, and information. A compassionate approach to supporting service users, demonstrating empathy and respect in all interactions, is essential. The salary for this role is approximately £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on location.
