Quality Assurance Specialist

A unique opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our engineering client in Dalgety Bay. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for verifying and validating product specifications during the product realisation process.
About the RoleThis full-time permanent position offers a competitive salary of £35,000 to £38,000 per annum (dependent on experience), working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday. In addition to your salary, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in data analysis, reporting, and internal audits.
Main Responsibilities- Data Analysis and Reporting: Provide accurate and timely reports to stakeholders, using data analysis tools to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Internal Audits: Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards, including ISO9001, ISO13485, ISO14001, and ISO45001.
- Supplier Performance Monitoring: Work closely with suppliers to monitor their performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
To be successful in this role, you will need a HNC or equivalent in an engineering or quality-related discipline, combined with excellent communication and analytical skills. A NEBOSH qualification is advantageous, as is experience in electronics or IPC electronic assembly. You must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and have good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office suite.
