HGV Class 1 Container Driver Opportunity

Pertemps Bond is seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 container driver to join our team on a temp to perm basis. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering containers to clients in the midlands and Wales areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive C+E vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Deliver containers to clients in a timely manner
  • Conduct vehicle checks and complete check sheets
  • Use PDA and Whatsapp to communicate with the office and clients
Requirements:
  • Category C+E license held for a minimum of 2 years
  • 6 months experience driving C+E vehicles
  • Valid Tahco and DQC cards
  • Clean driving license (desirable)
  • Experience in a similar role (desirable)
  • Friendly, professional, and dedicated to great customer service
Benefits:
  • Annual salary: £40,040
  • Working days: Monday to Friday
  • Start times: 04:00 – 09:00 (flexibility required)
  • Guaranteed 55 hours per week
  • Immediate starts available
  • 13 week temp to perm contract
