Job Overview

Fourblue is seeking a highly skilled Consents Liaison Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Renewable Energy Sector team, you will play a crucial role in negotiating wayleaves and easements with landowners for new electrical distribution infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate agreements with landowners to secure access for site surveys and construction.
  • Coordinate meetings with landowners and conduct detailed photographic condition surveys to assess potential impacts.
  • Evaluate and negotiate compensation claims related to losses and disturbances with landowners and third-party representatives.
  • Arrange access for site surveys and construction, ensuring minimal disruption to landowners and the community.
  • Represent Fourblue during visits to clients and landowners, building strong relationships and ensuring effective communication.
  • Maintain flexibility and adapt to the company's evolving needs, taking on additional tasks within your capability as required.
  • Collaborate with team members and provide support to graduates in their roles, contributing to a positive and inclusive team environment.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to participate in role-specific training and professional development, enhancing your skills and knowledge.
  • A valid UK driving license is required, along with the flexibility to work varying types of jobs, times, and locations.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Ideal candidate will be pursuing a RICS qualification, with knowledge of farming and commercial sectors.
  • Required experience or knowledge of the UK utilities industry, including the Electricity Act 1989 and the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
  • Familiarity with HMLR systems and experience working with GIS-based mapping systems.
