Senior Cardiac Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and motivated team player to join our dynamic Acute Coronary Syndrome Clinical Team at the Royal Free Hospital.
The CNS team provides expert clinical assessment, investigation, and care planning for patients with cardiac conditions. As a Senior Cardiac Care Specialist, you will work autonomously within the Cardiology Multi-Disciplinary Team, providing expert knowledge and advice to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
Main Responsibilities- Manage patients in the Rapid Access Chest Pain clinic, utilising your expertise in cardiology to provide high-quality patient care.
- Work collaboratively with the Cardiology Team to develop and implement effective care plans for patients with acute coronary syndrome.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to manage their condition effectively.
You will be expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge of current best practices in cardiology, staying vigilant in identifying opportunities for quality improvement and contributing to the development of the team's objectives.

Requirements- NMC Registered Nurse with a post-registration qualification in cardiology.
- Significant experience working in an acute hospital setting, preferably in a cardiology department.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
