We're seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Development Engineer to join our team in Southampton. As a leading engineering and construction company, we deliver high-quality EPC engineering and construction services across the UK and overseas.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects within different industry sectors, including process & water, energy, defence, and nuclear. As an Infrastructure Development Engineer, you will be responsible for producing original designs for civil infrastructure, including design and detail of temporary works within clean & dirty water and other sectors.

  • Liaise with clients to understand their specific requirements.
  • Prepare outline designs for tenders within short timescales.
  • Prepare clear and well-structured design calculations and reports.
  • Provide support and design proposals to site teams from pre-construction to construction phase.

To be successful as an Infrastructure Development Engineer, you'll need to have proven ability to undertake civil design to current codes and standards, thorough knowledge of safety legislation relating to CDM regulations, and hydraulic design experience.

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including 24 days holiday (increasing with service) + 8 bank holidays, options to buy additional holiday via salary sacrifice, company pension scheme, flexible working based on a 'core hours' system, hybrid working where possible, employee assistance program, free onsite parking, and bike to work scheme.
