About the Role

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Audit and Accounts Senior to join a dynamic team. As a key member of the team, you will assist partners and managers in delivering efficient and professional audit and accounting services. Your role will also involve training and managing junior staff, helping them to develop and reach their potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, supervise, and execute full end-to-end audits, ensuring timely completion and meeting agreed budgets.
  • Lead audits, delegate tasks to trainees, and provide technical guidance and support.
  • Deliver complete audit files for review, maintaining close liaison with clients, audit teams, and partners.
  • Prepare and review annual statutory accounts and corporation tax services, adhering to primary accounting frameworks, mainly FRS 102.
  • Motivate and encourage team members, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards, rules, and requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, providing personal, professional, and efficient service, identifying and understanding client needs, and offering initial solutions.
  • Achieve annual chargeable hours targets, taking responsibility for maintaining annual training requirements and proactively identifying personal training needs.
Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA Qualified.
  • Minimum of 2 years auditing experience, including leading audits.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards (primarily FRS 102) and auditing standards.
  • Proficient in using Audit and Accounts software and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, partners, and colleagues effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills, including the ability to multitask, prioritize work, and manage time efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and diligence.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
