About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at the Minster Mill. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of our hotel, ensuring that it remains in excellent condition for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the hotel’s building, including electrical, plumbing, and general repairs.
• Oversee the maintenance of all hotel facilities, including equipment and systems.
• Ensure that all maintenance work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to minimize downtime and optimize resource usage.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance work is coordinated and integrated with other hotel operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong technical knowledge and skills, including electrical, plumbing, and general building repairs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external contractors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible attitude and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
• Basic IT skills and familiarity with maintenance management software.
