Job Summary

Quality Service Recruitment is seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 driver to join our team on a long-term basis. As a driver for our national distribution company, you will be responsible for delivering food-based produce around the North on curtain-sided vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver food-based produce on curtain-sided vehicles with an average of 5 drops or collections per day
  • Manual handling of loads may be required
  • Work on a variety of routes and schedules, including early morning starts

Requirements

  • HGV C+E (HGV Class 1) licence
  • Digital Tachograph
  • DQC (CPC) Card
  • Minimum 12 months UK haulage experience on Class 1 or similar position

Working Conditions

As a driver for our company, you can expect to work a standard Monday to Friday schedule with various start times between 06:00 and 08:00. Shifts will be approximately 10-12 hours long.

Compensation

You will be paid £14.50 per hour on a PAYE basis or £17.55 per hour through our FSCS accredited umbrella company, in lieu of holiday accrual.
