Wildlife Conservation Educator Job Description

Birdworld Surrey is a leading bird park and conservation center, seeking a skilled Wildlife Conservation Educator to join our team. As a Conservation Education Guide, you will contribute to our educational program, public outreach activities, and conservation projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing engaging educational content and a passion for wildlife conservation. You will work closely with our Conservation Education Team Lead and other team members to deliver high-quality programs and ensure maximum public engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement conservation projects to protect native species within the Birdworld site.
  • Create engaging educational content for social media channels, highlighting the importance of conservation.
  • Support the delivery of seasonal events and workshops, promoting public awareness and participation.
  • Collaborate with our teams to produce high-quality content, including talks, experiences, and events.

Requirements:

  • Experience in conservation education or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driver's license and access to transport.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
