Are you a seasoned heating engineer looking to transition into a role where you can share your expertise and help others succeed? We're seeking a highly skilled Heat Pump Technical Specialist to join our team at Octopus Energy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the technical assessment of surveys to ensure they're viable for installation, based on current criteria.
  • Continuously review and refine our technical check and support process to optimize efficiency as the business grows.
  • Support the sales team in developing their responses to customer questions, providing accurate technical information and answers.
  • Apply technical rigor to identify and mitigate risks in our installation process.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, making it easy for customers to navigate our installation pipeline and share best practices.
  • Develop training materials and lead small technical projects to upskill our teams and improve performance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and drive a consistent approach across teams.
  • Advocate for low-carbon products and the importance of decarbonizing the UK's domestic housing stock.
Requirements:
  • Proven expertise in heat pumps, with a strong track record of installation and technical support.
  • A relentless focus on performance development and continuous improvement.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • An ability to demonstrate a 'completer-finisher' mentality, understanding the bigger picture and how processes contribute to our overall vision.
  • A start-up/entrepreneurial mindset, able to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in coaching and developing others in a customer-centric setting.
