Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English teacher to deliver tailored lessons to students with diverse needs, including those with SEND. In this role, you will have the opportunity to teach and support students who require accessible and engaging English Studies. Lessons may take place in students' homes, libraries, or other agreed-upon locations.

  • Plan and deliver individualised English lessons that cater to the student's academic level and learning objectives.
  • Remain patient and flexible in your approach to learning, adapting lesson content and teaching methods to support students with SEND and other learning challenges.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant experience teaching English up to A-Level. KS3 English up to A Level English Literature.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English Language and Literature curriculum and related topics.
  • A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
