Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Charge Nurse to lead our Children's Unit at University Hospital Crosshouse.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the assessment of care needs, development, implementation, and evaluation of care programs within the Children's Unit.
Key responsibilities will also include leading service development across all categories of care, taking overall responsibility for the provision of safe and skilled care.
The position requires management of the nursing and team, departmental resources, and budget to ensure high-quality clinical standards and efficient service delivery.
Requirements:
First-Level NMC registration as a Children's Nurse (RSCN or RN Child), a degree level education, or equivalent professional experience.
Further education or evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in the area of clinical specialty is also required.
Working Arrangements:
This role requires a UK driving license and car ownership, with 22.5 hours per week worked on a regular basis.
