Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Outcomes First Group. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of our Children's Home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Home Manager in the overall management of the home, including staff supervision, resident care, and administrative tasks.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents, in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team.
  • Lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as education and therapy, to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.

Requirements

  • Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Experience of working in a residential setting, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.
  • Working knowledge of relevant legislation, such as the Children's Act and Quality Care Standards.
  • Ability to effectively train and develop staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
