MRC Equip is a funding opportunity for mid-range equipment acquisition in biomedical research. The award range is £100,000 to £800,000, with MRC funding up to 100% of the full economic cost.
EligibilityTo be eligible, applicants must be employed at a UK research organisation eligible for MRC funding. Research organisations may only submit one application per round, unless otherwise notified by MRC.
Application RequirementsApplicants must request a contribution between £100,000 and £800,000. Awards will be made for spending in the 2025 to 2026 financial year.
Who Can ApplyEligible applicants include researchers and research technical professionals employed by UK research organisations. Potential applicants are advised to contact their research office at the earliest opportunity.
