About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Partner to join our team. As a strategic People Partner, you will partner with our senior leadership team and work closely with the site people teams, providing professional people support and guidance for the B&Q network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support all B&Q locations across the network with a first-class people service.
  • Support and guide our people teams on sites to drive resource planning, talent development, capability, and business change activities.
  • Support a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that delivers exceptional value to our customers.
  • Provide support, guidance and counsel to colleagues, customers and people teams on complex employee relations cases and its application, escalating where necessary.
  • Support senior people leaders and contribute to corporate wide operational people projects.
  • Support the people teams with implementation of new technologies, systems and ways of working as appropriate.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Proven excellence experience in building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Generalist HR multi-site leadership experience, along with supporting/ delivering with HR projects and delivery (CIPD Qualified).
  • An understanding of how to build organisational capability through effective talent management, succession planning and learning and development.
