Job Title: Specialist Occupational Therapist

The Cambian Group, a leading provider of specialist services in education, mental health rehabilitation, and learning disabilities, is seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join the company as a Specialist Occupational Therapist.

About the Role

You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including clinicians, care, and education staff, to provide quality assessments, reports, and needs-led interventions for young people. You will also contribute to the development of the Occupational Therapy service and work with school staff to embed sensory strategies across the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions for young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, communication difficulties, complex needs, and challenging behavior.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans.
  • Contribute to the development of the Occupational Therapy service and provide training and supervision to staff as needed.
  • Embed sensory strategies across the environment to support the needs of young people.
Requirements
  • Experience working with young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and learning disabilities.
  • Qualifications in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
