Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic GP to join our multidisciplinary team in providing medical care to patients requiring urgent assessment, advice, treatment, or referral out of hours. The GP OOH Service is an integral part of our healthcare system, working closely with triage nurses, advanced community practitioners, technicians, call handlers, and a service management team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Main Duties of the Job
As a GP Out of Hours Service Provider, you will be responsible for working on a sessional basis, developing the service model, and collaborating with partners and communities to deliver safe, caring, and effective NHS services. You will need to be confident in operating in a model that supports ED with managing primary care presentations across the out of hours period to enhance patient experience and reduce ED attendances.
