As a key member of our team, the Financial Manager will be responsible for leading the finance function at Mill Farm Sports Village. This includes producing monthly management accounts, maintaining internal controls, and driving process improvements. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in a similar role. A Sage 200 certification and accountancy qualification (ACM/ACCA/ACA) are essential. In addition to these responsibilities, the Financial Manager will assist year-end auditors, manage cash handling processes, oversee sales and purchase ledgers, and ensure accurate and timely completion of weekly wages and monthly salaries. They will also support AFC match days by ordering and managing cash on the day.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of three years' experience in a similar position, excellent time management skills, and IT skills. A strong understanding of financial software, including Sage 200, is essential. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and a team player. A competitive salary of up to £50,000 dependent on experience is offered, as well as private healthcare after qualifying period, profit share after two years (T&Cs apply), company pension, and discounts on food and products.
