Regional Sales Director

We are seeking a results-driven sales professional to join our team as a Regional Sales Director - Locking Systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead our sales efforts in the East Midlands and East Anglia regions and contribute to the growth of our company.
About the OpportunityThe successful candidate will inherit an established customer base with a target revenue of £2.5m-£3m and be responsible for managing the distribution network efficiently.
- Sell high-end manufactured multi-point locking systems to window and door fabricators.
- Manage relationships with existing customers.
- Recruit new commercial accounts.
- Win specifications with architects, local authorities, M&E contractors, and main contractors.
Key Requirements:
- Window and door hardware field sales experience from within the construction industry.
- Able to hit the ground running.
- Doors/doorsets or door hardware field sales experience.
- Fire door specification field sales experience with architects and architectural ironmongers (advantageous).
- GAI or FRID qualification (advantageous).
- Familiarity with technical regulations and legislation around internal timber fire door locking systems.
- A consultative approach.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Autonomous nature.
- Self-motivation, communication skills, and relationship building abilities.
We offer a competitive salary range of £45,000-£50,000 per annum, plus a £5,000-£10,000 bonus. You will also enjoy a fully expensed car and benefits package.
