Plant Maintenance Specialist

Coinford Ltd is a leading groundworks and concrete frame specialist delivering contracts throughout London and the South East of England.
The role is based at our Plant Yard in Burstow, Surrey, and involves the effective and efficient day-to-day running of all plant, minimising downtime and ensuring the maintenance of a wide-ranging stock of construction equipment to a professional high-quality standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Health & Safety: Ensure a safe working environment, adhere to safety rules, and quarantine equipment if unsafe to use.
- Quality: Liaise with the Workshop Supervisor to ensure good communication, repair and service plant to a high standard, and ensure plant is fit for purpose.
- Commercial: Minimise downtime, ensure stock levels are correct, and notify the Workshop Supervisor if plant is no longer economical for repair.
Requirements:
- Experience of working with plant and maintenance of plant.
- Product knowledge – Plant Manufacturers.
- Lift Operations and Lifting Equipment (LOLER) and International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) qualifications preferred.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a good understanding of Health & Safety.
Qualifications:
- NVQ in Plant Maintenance.
- GCSE English and Maths, or equivalent.
