London, Greater London, United Kingdom VISTA Full time

At VISTA, a global business aviation group, we are seeking a highly skilled Chief International Financial Reporting Officer to lead our International Accounting and Reporting function. This is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you will report to the Group Financial Controller and oversee local Entity Accounting teams in various locations, including Malta, Germany, India, and the UK. These teams manage over 40 global subsidiaries comprising the VistaJet Group, Air Hamburg, and Vista Global holding company level entities.

The role involves leading the international financial reporting process within the group, managing the financial reporting calendar, and driving processes to ensure consistent, timely, accurate, and relevant reporting. You will also lead a multi-location accounting and reporting team, setting objectives, coaching, developing, and performance managing team members.

You will be responsible for owning the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting calendar, ensuring proper communication of responsibilities and deadlines throughout the teams. Additionally, you will liaise with the group external auditors to manage and coordinate the audit/interim review of the International groups' financial statements to PCAOB standards.

As a key member of the Group Reporting Team leadership, you will liaise with your peer, the US Financial Controller, and coordinate with the Group Finance Director. You will work closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis and Corporate Finance teams to ensure a full understanding of the International financials.

In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of the Group Accounting manual, led by the Technical Accounting department. You will enforce group accounting policies and support accounting treatments. Ensuring that knowledge and experience required to carry out the respective functions is adequately represented across the team to minimize dependency on individual team members and ensure continuity in the performance of the designated activities.

This position requires strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage own workload in a pressurised environment and work to tight deadlines. You must be prepared to get into the detail where needed and support/coach team members. An inquisitive and analytical mindset is essential, allowing you to understand the commercial and operational side of the business and relate it to the financial performance and metrics being reported.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £80,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
