beBee Professionals is seeking a Teacher Assistant to support our school in Finchley, United Kingdom. The role involves managing classrooms during teacher absences and ensuring that students remain engaged in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with school policies.
  • Provide feedback to the teaching staff on the progress of students.
  • Support students with their learning when necessary.
  • Ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Assist with administrative duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a school environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different classroom environments.
  • Patience and a positive attitude toward supporting students.
  • Flexibility to work on short notice when required.
  • A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
