About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Communications Manager to join our Global Communications and Policy team at Deliveroo. As a key member of our team, you will play a leading role in helping us protect and build our reputation.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and rapidly growing company that is transforming the way people shop and eat. You will have the chance to work across various communications channels, including business, news, trade, and owned channels, and public affairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Corporate Communications with media relations, including managing our corporate press office and handling incoming media queries.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Corporate Communications to create positive business announcements and campaigns focused on key areas of Deliveroo policy.
  • Identify new opportunities for Deliveroo to build its corporate reputation in the national and local media.
  • Support the profiling of Deliveroo's leadership team in the UK and Ireland.
  • Develop high-quality briefing materials to support the CEO, Executive Team, and Board with media interviews and meetings.
  • Manage Deliveroo's corporate reputation through owned channels, including LinkedIn.
Requirements
  • A confident media handler with strong press office and issues management experience.
  • Experience in corporate PR, with a track record of landing positive corporate coverage in the national and trade media.
  • An in-depth understanding of the media and political landscape in the UK and Ireland.
  • A good network of media contacts in news, business, and trade media.
  • Experience in using owned channels for corporate reputation and developing high-quality content.
