About the Role

We seek an accomplished Environmental Consultant to join our planning and rural teams in Horley. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with established professionals to deliver comprehensive ecological solutions.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough ecological surveys to inform planning applications
• Providing expert guidance on ecological legislation and regulations

Requirements

You should hold a degree in Ecology or a related field and be a qualified member of CIEEM (MCIEEM). With at least 3 years of experience in ecological practice, you will possess a strong background in conducting ecological surveys, preparing Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, protected species surveys, and Ecological Impact Assessments.

A full driving license and access to a car are essential for this role. You should also demonstrate independence, minimal supervision requirements, and awareness of health and safety practices.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
