Architectural Assistant Opportunity

This chartered architecture practice in Canterbury is seeking a Part II Architectural Assistant to join their team. With a focus on conservation architecture in the South East, the company is dedicated to protecting and enhancing buildings in the community.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior architects and designers on various projects
  • Assist in developing architectural plans and designs
  • Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD and SketchUp
  • Participate in project meetings and provide creative input
  • Conduct research on materials and building techniques
  • Assist in preparing presentations for clients and submitting planning applications
Requirements:
  • Must live within 45 minutes of Canterbury
  • AutoCAD experience is essential
  • Strong understanding of architectural principles and design concepts
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
