Job Title: Technical Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Engineer to join our team at a market-leading manufacturing organisation. This newly created position reflects the company's continued investment and commitment to strengthening its Engineering and Technical department.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Technical Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting the development and growth of products within the business. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Serving as the primary contact for technical queries, delivering prompt and accurate responses.
  • Triage and prioritizing incoming inquiries based on urgency and complexity.
  • Working closely with Sales, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Assisting with product presentations, demonstrations, and customer visits by providing technical expertise.
  • Staying current on industry trends and developments to enhance product knowledge.
  • Contributing to the creation of technical training materials for both internal teams and customers.
  • Providing feedback and insights to support product development and improvement.
  • Offering product advice and delivering training materials for new or updated products and services.
  • Supporting customer site visits and meetings, offering technical input as needed.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Experience and proficiency in maintaining technical documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Confident communication skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards.
  • An engineering-biased qualification such as HNC/HND/BTEC/BEng or time-served engineering experience.
