Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Band 2 nurse to join our Oral Maxillofacial Surgery team. As a key member of our Out-Patient Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in our trauma and photography clinics, as well as supporting clinicians in minor operations.

Main Duties
  • Provide basic nursing care to patients in accordance with Trust Policies, including confidentiality and professional behavior.
  • Support clinicians in clinics and minor operations as needed.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Liaise closely with other members of the clinic team to ensure efficient and effective clinic operations.
  • Assist with the care of patients, their relatives, and friends, directing them to other departments as necessary.
  • Monitor blood pressure and report any changes in patient condition to qualified staff.
  • Be aware of the Trust's Health and Safety Policy and ensure that all necessary precautions are taken to maintain a safe working environment.

Person Specification
  • Previous Band 3 telederm nursing experience normally for a minimum of 6 months.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Good technical skills.
