We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment Careers. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the design and construction team, liaising with the company director, managing costs, and understanding client and customer needs.
This is a varied role that will see you working closely with the design, construction, and senior management teams to complete projects across Belfast and the surrounding areas. You will initially receive training and then be expected to manage current and potential new construction projects, travel to sites, and have a good knowledge of Northern Ireland Health and Safety legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project costs and report project issues with the company director
- Lead the design and construction teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Discuss client and customer needs to ensure project requirements are met
- Travel to sites across Belfast and the surrounding areas to oversee project progress
Requirements:
- Experience in project management, preferably in the construction industry
- Good understanding of Northern Ireland Health and Safety legislation
- Ability to travel to sites across Belfast and the surrounding areas
- Strong communication and leadership skills
