Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join our client, a well-established and respected Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) contractor. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a £12m M& E mixed-use commercial scheme, working closely with the operations manager and electrical project manager to ensure the mechanical package is completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and coordinate drawings and material distribution to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Communicate effectively with site labor to ensure a smooth and safe working environment.
- Enforce health and safety policies and method statements to maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage material schedules and orders to ensure timely delivery and minimize delays.
- Maintain a site diary to record and report any issues or concerns.
- Monitor site progress and provide guidance to operatives to ensure the project is completed to the highest standards.
- Coordinate with main contractors to ensure access and material deliveries are managed efficiently.
- Ensure high standards of quality and safety on site, and prepare construction programs to manage resourcing issues.
- Attend site meetings and manage risks to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
- Ensure all work complies with specifications and is properly documented.
