Deputy Financial Controller Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Financial Controller to join our team at Project People. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial reporting and accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS 16 and other relevant accounting standards
  • Manage the audit process, including internal audits and shareholder audits
  • Lead financial reporting processes, including preparing trial balances and reporting results for management review
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective financial operations
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with experience in financial reporting and accounting
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in managing teams and driving improvements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide insightful financial commentary and liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and shareholders
  • Familiarity with finance systems such as Agresso and experience in managing financial controls and group consolidations
