About the Role:

The Flavour Application Assistant will play a key role in supporting the development of new products and flavours at Cambridge Commodities. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating and arranging samples of finished products for the Sales team
  • Maintaining schedules and deadlines for tasks associated with flavour development
  • Liaising with suppliers and providing support during flavour development projects
  • Creating documentation for training the Sales team on new products and ingredients
  • Maintaining commercial reports on sample production progress
  • Supporting the Sales team with on-site meetings and providing ad-hoc assistance to the NPD, Marketing and Sales teams
  • Hosting internal samples tasting sessions and maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Nutritional knowledge and/or qualification, with a passion for nutrition, ingredients, health and wellbeing
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, with outstanding attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • A commitment to creating a clean and safe working environment
